Retiring in June 2024, Colette was a partner at Walkers since 2009. She practised as a barrister from chancery/commercial chambers in London for fifteen years before being admitted as an attorney in the Cayman Islands in 2005. Working on high value and cross border commercial litigation, with a particular emphasis on disputes arising in connection with fraud, asset recovery, corporate governance, distressed investment vehicles and liquidations.
Sine 2009 Colette had been commended in leading legal directories including Who"s Who Legal, Chambers Global and Legal 500. The strength of the Walkers asset recovery team was commended in the 2013 International Who"s Who of Asset Recovery Lawyers which noted that Colette "stood out as one of the most highly regarded individuals in the research.
