Pamela Goldbaum

Pamela Goldbaum is a Partner at Goldbaum Abogados in Santiago, Chile. She is a bilingual lawyer with more than 30 years of experience in insolvency, restructuring, asset tracing and recovery, fraud-related disputes, debt recovery and complex civil, commercial and bankruptcy litigation.

Pamela represents creditors, debtors, companies, family businesses and private clients in complex disputes involving distressed assets, hidden or misappropriated assets, enforcement strategies, shareholder conflicts, insolvency proceedings and cross-border recovery matters. She began her career at the Chilean Bankruptcy Superintendence and later worked at PwC, which allows her to approach complex matters from a multidisciplinary legal, financial, tax and forensic perspective.

She has acted in significant cross-border insolvency and asset recovery matters, including one of Chile’s first cross-border insolvency cases recognizing the ability of Chilean liquidators to pursue assets in foreign jurisdictions. Pamela regularly coordinates teams of lawyers, accountants, auditors, forensic experts and financial professionals in Chile and abroad.

Pamela is the Chilean representative of ICC FraudNet and a founding member and Co-Chair of the Latin America Chapter of IWIRC. She has lectured on insolvency and asset recovery in Latin America, the United States and Europe.
